About for Wegochow
We can do more for you

Food That Feels Like Home.
WegoChow is more than a delivery platform — it’s a community built around the flavours, culture, and comfort of home.
Born out of a simple idea — what if you could get that same familiar taste, delivered to your door? — WegoChow connects you to the shops and cooks you already know and love. From beloved corner stores to talented home chefs preparing meals passed down through generations, our mission is to make cultural food more accessible, more convenient, and more celebrated.
Why We Started
As diasporan communities grow, so does the need to stay connected to our roots. But for many of us, getting traditional groceries or home-style meals means long trips into town, waiting in line, or relying on word-of-mouth WhatsApp groups.
We built WegoChow to change that.
With just a few taps, you can shop from local African, Caribbean, and Asian food stores, or pre-order meals from verified home cooks in your area. No hassle. No guesswork. Just good food, delivered.

Our Mission
To support local cultural food vendors — from shop owners to kitchen creatives — while making it easier for customers to enjoy authentic, nourishing meals from home. We believe that: We built WegoChow to change that.

Founder Story
WegoChow was co-founded by Sani and Faith, a couple who understood firsthand how hard it can be to access the flavours of home — especially while juggling busy lives in the UK.
Frustrated by the time it took to get African groceries or find home-cooked meals, they decided to build the kind of service they wished already existed: one that would bring the market — and the kitchen — directly to your door.
Drawing on Sani’s background in media and marketing and Faith’s deep knowledge of food culture and community needs, they launched WegoChow as a way to uplift local vendors, empower home cooks, and feed the diaspora with love.
Today, the platform is growing — one product, one pot of soup, one happy customer at a time.
