WegoChow is a UK-based online grocery marketplace that connects customers with local African, Caribbean and cultural food vendors. Our platform allows you to place orders for groceries, cooked meals, and other products directly from independent vendors.
2. Eligibility to Use the Platform
To use our platform:
You must be at least 18 years old.
You must provide accurate, complete and current information.
You must not misuse our platform, interfere with other users, or engage in unlawful activity.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms.
3. Orders and Payments
When you place an order through WegoChow, you are purchasing from the individual vendor listed on the product/store page.
Prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Orders must be paid for in full at checkout via Stripe, PayPal, or other secure methods we offer.
Payment is taken on behalf of the vendor, with WegoChow facilitating the transaction.
4. Delivery
Deliveries are available in Portsmouth, Monday to Saturday, 10am – 8pm.
Delivery fees are clearly displayed during checkout.
Vendors are responsible for order preparation; WegoChow coordinates logistics via our rider network.
While we aim for timely delivery, delays may occasionally occur due to traffic, weather, or vendor availability.
5. Cancellations, Refunds & Returns
Groceries and Perishables:
Due to the nature of food items, returns are generally not accepted unless the product is:
Damaged or spoiled upon arrival
Incorrect or missing from your order
Cooked Meals:
Cooked food orders cannot be returned once delivered.
Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis if meals are significantly incorrect or inedible.

6. Vendor Responsibility
Each vendor is responsible for:
The accuracy of product descriptions, availability, pricing, and preparation
Compliance with food safety and labelling laws
Timely order fulfilment
WegoChow is not liable for vendor negligence but will intervene in disputes when appropriate.
7. Account and Security
You are responsible for:
Keeping your login details confidential
All activity under your account

8. Intellectual Property
All content on the WegoChow site — including logos, images, product descriptions, and copy — is the intellectual property of WegoChow or its content providers. You may not reproduce or reuse any part of the site without permission.

WegoChow is not liable for losses caused by vendors, delays in delivery, or minor variations in product appearance.
We do not guarantee the site will always be available, error-free, or virus-free.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the platform at any time for breach of these Terms, misuse, or fraudulent activity.

11. Governing Law
