📦 Adding & Editing Products

To add a product:

  1. Go to your dashboard
  2. Click Products > Add New
  3. Add product name, price, photo, description, and category
  4. Click Publish

To edit a product:

  • Go to Products > Edit, update the info, and click Update

Tips:

  • Always show weight/quantity (e.g. 1kg, 500ml)
  • Use clear, well-lit photos
  • Avoid duplicate or unclear product names

🚚 Managing Orders & Deliveries

  • You’ll receive an email and dashboard alert when an order is placed
  • Mark it as Processing while preparing
  • Mark as Ready for Delivery once packed
  • WegoChow will coordinate rider pickup or customer collection

Vendor responsibilities:

  • Pack securely and label clearly
  • Be ready within your stated fulfilment window
  • Let us know immediately if stock is unavailable

Use:

📋 Vendor Terms & Policies

By joining the platform, all vendors agree to:

  • Keep prices and stock accurate and up to date
  • Pack and deliver orders reliably and on time
  • Use clean, safe packaging for all food
  • Follow hygiene best practices
  • Respond quickly to any order issues
  • Maintain respectful communication with customers and staff

Vendors who repeatedly breach these terms or receive poor ratings may be removed from the platform.

📑 Platform Fees & Charges

To support your growth, you will not pay any platform or listing fees during your first 3 months on WegoChow.

After this trial period, a low monthly platform fee will apply to help cover technology, maintenance, and ongoing vendor support.

  • Vendor commission: 10% per order (automatically deducted)
  • Platform fee: £0 for the first 3 months → [e.g. £15/month] from month 4
  • Customer service fee: A small fee added at checkout (paid by customer)
  • Customer small order fee: Applied to baskets under a certain value (e.g. under £10)

Payouts are handled automatically by our secure payment system. No need to invoice us or request transfers manually.

🧾 Store Performance & Ratings

Your store’s performance is tracked through:

Vendors with consistently high ratings may be:

  • Featured on the homepage
  • Promoted via social media

Stores with repeated complaints may be paused or removed from the platform — but we’ll always contact you first to help resolve any issues.
